GENERAL DENTISTRY
In addition to offering cosmetic procedures, Dr. Zabner is an excellent general dentist who can meet your family's dental care needs, from regular checkups to full mouth restoration.
Crowns & Bridges
Today's crowns are extremely durable and natural-looking. Crowns are used to "cap" a tooth after a decayed portion has been removed, for example, after a root canal or for teeth too severely damaged to be corrected with a filling. Crowns can also be used to strengthen a tooth that is in danger of becoming damaged, or to make a tooth look more attractive.
Bridges are prosthetic teeth filling a gap in the mouth and are anchored by crowns on either side of the gap. Crowns and bridges are excellent options to restore the health and beauty of your smile if you have missing or damaged teeth. Dr. Zabner would be pleased to see you and provide more information about these restorative procedures.Orthodontics
Interested in having a straighter smile? Straight teeth are not only aesthetically pleasing, they also help in the prevention and treatment of gum disease. Dr. Zabner would be happy to evaluate your condition and develop a treatment plan that will help you accomplish your goals.
Dr. Zabner now offers the breakthrough Invisalign® & ClearCorrect systems for straightening teeth. This sophisticated technology uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gently correct the position of your teeth, gradually moving them into proper alignment as you progress to a new aligner every couple of weeks.
Since they are clear and thin, the aligners are virtually unnoticeable while you are wearing them. Easily removed for eating, drinking, and brushing, Invisalign® & ClearCorrect are the clear choice for straightening your teeth... convenient, comfortable, and discreet!
Fillings
Fillings are used to maintain the integrity of a tooth after a decayed portion has been removed. Depending on the conditions, Dr. Zabner may use air abrasion, or micro abrasion, utilizing tiny particles in a very thin stream of air to precisely and accurately remove damage. Your filling is smaller and your tooth stays stronger.
Most patients now choose white composite fillings instead of metal fillings. Composite fillings are made of a strong and durable resin material that is carefully selected to match your own natural tooth color.
Extractions
In cases when a tooth is broken, injured, or extremely decayed, removal of the tooth may be the best choice for your dental health. Dr. Zabner is an experienced dentist who can perform the extraction and replace the tooth with a prosthetic that is suited to your personal needs.
Gums
At your initial examination, Dr. Zabner will conduct a thorough evaluation of the condition of your gums, and discuss his findings and treatment recommendations. Dr. Zabner's office utilizes advanced technology for a non-invasive treatment of gum diseases, enhancing the cosmetic appeal of your gums in relation to your smile.
Root Canals
A root canal is a common procedure that removes decay deep within the tooth. Decay of the tooth's inner pulp tissue can be very painful. If left untreated, it can also cause your tooth to become dark gray or even to fall out.
A root canal will alleviate the pain and can save your tooth by removing the damaged pulp, followed by sealing the tooth with a crown. If you select a composite crown, your tooth will still look white like the rest of your teeth. In most instances, Dr. Zabner can perform a root canal quickly, with little or no discomfort.
Dentures
As we age, our teeth can begin to wear down. They may also sustain damage and decay over the years. Dentures are removable prosthetic teeth which are often the best solution for maintaining the health, function, and appearance of a smile that has deteriorated over time.
